Even Dripping Water Fills the Bucket

It has been a slow moving year for me thus far. I started the year off with influenza which then transitioned into pneumonia. It's put a serious wrench in my creative workings. I just haven't quite gotten back to my normal energy levels, but I have carved out a little time at school and a bit of time in the evenings here and there.

It's times like these that make me the most confident that I will continue to find ways to work on my artwork no matter what is going on in my life. So, that's heartening. A bucket gathering drops still fills little by little.

At any rate, I thought that I would share a few of the orchid pieces that I put together for my daily drawing this past week. I am now planning on getting a couple orchids soon as well. The plant collection is really rounding out, but I'm growing less and less interested in a collection limited to succulents.

I think that I will be putting together some woodcuts here in the coming weeks. I am really enamored of the shapes in these orchids and really think that I'd like to dwell on them some more.

Here's to our filling buckets, peeps.
Peace
